About Us Rajkot Customs and Central Excise Commissionerate came into existence on 01.09.1983 and was carved out from the then Ahmedabad Customs and Central Excise Commissionerate. Its jurisdiction consists of Saurashtra and Kutch region of Gujarat State.  The Commissionerate had Six Central Excise Divisions. Kandla Customs House, which was part of this Commissionerate, was separated as an independent Commissionerate w.e.f.  01.04.1990.  A new Commissionerate that is Bhavnagar Commissionerate was formed by separating three divisions of this Commissionerate namely Surendranagar, Junagadh and Bhavnagar w.e.f. 01.11.2002.
